CONTENT OF THE PROGRAM
Business Administration Department aims to educate students who have the ability to tackle with business problems related with law, commercial mathematics, management, accounting, computer use, public finance, marketing and public relations and have business ethics. In this context, in business administration education, processes related to effective and efficient use of resources, strategic management, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources and modern management techniques are discussed. As a result, this program trains future business leaders that have the ability of problem solving, analytical thinking, adapting to business life conditions, making decisions and implementing this decisions correctly, specializing in areas such as marketing, sales, human resources, finance.
AIM OF THE PROGRAM
The aim of the program is to educate competent personnel for private or public businesses or entrepreneurs who create their own businesses. İt is expected that graduates can;
- take responsibility as manager assistant or mid-level manager,
- support the management about the efficient and effective use of resources, time and workforce,
- understand the basic principles of business administration,
- use modern technology related to profession,
- know the legal responsibilities associated with the profession,
- recognize the documents used in commercial life,
- follow the economic environment,
- explain importance of issues related to research, development and execution as an individual or a group,
- have business ethics.
DURATION AND CONTENT OF THE EDUCATION
Business Administration Department gives a 2-year education and during the education students take courses such as Turkish Language, Ataturk`s Principles and History, Foreign Language, Computer, General Accounting, General Management, Office Management and Communication Skills, Mathematics, Economics, General Law, Macroeconomics, Trade Mathematics, Commercial Law, Statistics, Principles of Marketing, Financial Management, Computerized Accounting, Cost Accounting, Foreign Trade Enterprises Management, Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Money and Banking, Tax Law, Labor and Social Security Law, Financial Statement Analysis, Working Capital Management, Business Budgets.

- Have the ability to use the computer and the required packaged software
- Explaining the management functions
- Accounting department employees as subordinates in their performance and valuation measures to train professionals able to comprehend
- Explaining the characteristics of business firms

- To know the legal responsibilities as a manager
- Considering the legal rules regulating the legislative framework of the business world
- To recognize the commercial documents.
- To recognize the basic concepts about economy.
- To recognize the importance of foreign trade and related documents.
- To use computer programs related with accounting.
- To have accounting knowledge.
- Have quality awareness, competence and finalization ability
- To gain practical skills in office layout and personnel management.
REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Students who graduate from Banking, Computerized Accounting, Stock Services, Maritime and Port Management, Foreign Trade, Real Estate Brokerage, General Services, Business Administration, Accounting, Insurance, Facility Management and Trade departments of the vocational high schools and Anatolian vocational high schools can apply open admission. Also, other type high school students can enter the program if they will be successful in the university entrance exam.
SECTORS AND JOB TYPES THAT GRADUATES OF THE PROGRAM CAN BE EMPLOYED
Graduates of the program have wide job opportunities. Regardless of public or private sector, graduates can be employed the marketing, finance, accounting, banking, insurance, public relations and human resources departments of the all enterprises. Graduates often work areas such as:
- Independent accounting and consulting agencies,
- Marketing, finance, accounting, banking, insurance, public relations and human resources departments of the private firms,
- Related departments of the Public enterprises,
- Investment and financial institutions,
- Public and private banks.
