ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The use of electronics in industry has become increasingly common. As the technique progresses, there is a need for intermediate staff who know the devices in the Industrial field and have the skills and knowledge to follow the developing technologies. Our university provides education and training in Industrial Electronics and Electronics Technology.

Our students; Electronic Measurement Technique and Security, Direct Current and Alternating Current circuit analysis, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Digital Circuit Design, Electrical-Electronic Projects, Programmable Controllers, System Analysis and Design, Processor Programming and so on. they graduate as.

Our students who graduated from our Electronic Technology Program; It also has the opportunity to work in public institutions and organizations (Telecom, PTT, TRT .. etc.), private institutions producing electrical and industrial electronics, and all private institutions using electronic systems at any stage of production. Depending on the development of the industry, the need for technicians with high application skills who will graduate from the Electronics and automation department will increase day by day.

This department graduates can follow the developments in their profession, read and apply the Scheme, communicate with the engineers within the scope of their responsibilities, transfer the technical knowledge they receive to lower level technical personnel such as technicians and craftsmen, work organization, know the importance of team work, take risks and responsibilities, solve problems, are the personnel who can make decisions, write reports, use equipment, maintain and repair and keep records, start their own business, and manage medium and high level in small and medium-sized enterprises.

Graduates of Electronic Technology Program, electrical and electronic systems and devices in the public or private sector; they can work in a wide range of fields such as production, installation, maintenance, repair, sales, quality control and purchasing.

In parallel with its increasing importance, it is a program that covers the applications of electronics in various fields from daily life to use in industry. Simply explains the basic principles of electronics and gives information about the application areas. Those who have successfully completed the program receive an associate degree and the title of "Electronics Technician".

COURSE CONTENTS

Parallel to its increasing significance, it`s a programme that covers all application from daily life to industry. Basically, explains the principles of electronics and gives information about its application areas. It`s called Electronics Technicians those who successfully complete the program.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM

To train the Electronic Technician in the quality and standard that our country needs, as an intermediate manpower who knows the electronic systems and equipment, knows their features, can apply their knowledge to industrial systems and equipment, and will work on the assembly, maintenance and repair of electronic tools and devices used in the industry.

ELECTRONICS TECHNICIANS

Are people who follows the developments in their fields, can read the scheme and can apply it, does contact to engineers and delivers the knowledge which they have gotten from the engineer to the lower positioned technical staff, can make work organization, knows the importance of teamwork, can take risk and responsibility, can solve problem and can make decision on it, can make reports, can operate, maintenance, and repair the equipments, can establish their own workshops, can become middle and high level administration personnel in the small and middle sized plants.

STUDENT RESOURCES

The Vocational School graduated students programmes such as ; Electronics, Electrical, Ship Electronics, Plane Maintenance Technicians, Control and Automation systems can apply to transfer without testing for Mechatronics Associate Degree. They may placed if they carry out the prerequisites. The other majors that is not mentioned above and the Regular High School Graduated (or prospective) students may be placed according to their preference on the National Examination (YGS) point results if available. Those people have to earn required science (SAY) point from the National Examination which ÖSYM Administration arranges.

THE COURSES GIVEN IN TRAINING DURATION

The student takes 4 semesters and 2 education in training duration.

1ST YEAR- 1ST SEMESTER
Turkish Literature-1, Ataturk Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, Fine Arts-1, Foreign Language, Math-1, Basic Computer Applications, Scientific Principles of Technology, Digital Electronics, Material Knowledge, DC Circuit Analysis, General and Technical Communication, Electronics Measurement Techniques and Safety.

1ST YEAR-2ND SEMESTER
Turkish Literature-2, Ataturk Principles and History of Turkish Revolution-2, Fine Arts-2, Foreign Language-2, Math-2, Computer Aided Design, AC Circuit Analysis, Digital Design, Analog Electronics

2ND YEAR-1ST SEMESTER
Amplifiers and Oscillators, Microprocessors/Microcontrollers-1, Computer Aided Drawing, Instrumentation, Power Sources, Operational Amplifiers, Programmable Controllers (PLC System Analyze and Design-1) and Elective Course

2ND YEAR-2ND SEMESTER
Microprocessors/Microcontrollers-2, Power Electronics, Business Administration, Trouble Shooting, Quality Control and Standards, Electrical Motors and Drivers, System Analyze and Design-2 and elective courses.
The students take these courses in the classrooms theoretically in labs and workshops practically. Additionally, it`s a mandatory for students to make the internships on applied industrial training as an internee for Total of 30 work days.

ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM WORKSHOPS AND LABS

We have 3 different labs in our College that supports the technical practice courses.
1. Fundamental Electronical Lab
It`s a lab to perform practices that related to Analog Courses such as; Electrical-Electronics Measurement, Operational Amplifiers, Amplificators and Oscillators, Power Sources, Power Electronics.
2. Digital Electronics Lab
It`s a lab to perform practices related to Digital Electronics Course.
3. PLC and Microcontroller Lab
The computer connected PLC and Microcontroller practices are being performed in this Computer Aided Lab.

SCHOLARSHIPS, ACCOMMODATION AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

The students that have registered the program can take advantage of the loan or scholarships that government/private sector provides. They can accommodate in governments dormitories. They can join any activities to enjoy their spare times in the social and sportive clubs.

WORKING FIELDS AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The technician can make profession and work on these fields which are the courses mentioned above in the 2nd education year. Technicians may work as technical personnel in government and private sectors and they may establish their own workshops as well.
