COURSE CONTENTS:

Developments in communication and transformation areas increase development momentum in tourism sector and mass tourism. Turkey receives an important share from tourism with its geopolitical position and natural, cultural and historical wealth. Due to growing in the sector and sector`s labour intensive structure, skilled work force is required. Furthermore, tourism sector revives other sectors such as accommodation, eating and drinking, guiding, animation etc.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM

The fundamental purpose of Tourism and Hospitality Management Program is educate and train skilled workforce who has required theory knowledge and sectorial experiments, capable to use specific foreign languages and computer, obtained analytic thinking and problem solving, follows evolvement of tourism in Turkey and across the world, internalize perpetual learning principle and who can serve as middle level managers and staffs to take roles in production processes.

Successfully graduated students with succeed External Transfer Exam (DGS) can register undergraduate programs above:

• Tourism and Hospitality Management
In addition to this, after their graduation they can register Anatolia University Open Education Management Faculty without an extra exam and they can continue their undergraduate education as from 3rd year.

APPLICATION OPPORTUNITIES

In Tourism and Hospitality Management Program; laboratories related to kitchen, food and beverage service and housekeeping, multi-purpose meeting rooms and application restaurants are available. Furthermore, cooking equipment, service equipment and presentation equipment is open to use about laboratories.

CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION

Students graduated from Hospitality Tourism Occupational High School and Hospitality Services` of Girl`s Vocational Schools can register "Tourism and Hospitality" under secondary program without exam.

Except feature graduates from open admission determined occupational high schools and related fields, students should be enter to Higher Education Entrance Exam (YGS), and they have to receive sufficient Equally-Weighted (EA) point. After materialized these conditions, if there is additional empty quotas later open admission completed, they will emplacement empty quotas
